Internship Tasks:
Join the ITTF Foundation as a Communications Intern and help drive global development through sports by effectively conveying our mission. This role focuses on enhancing digital presence and communication strategies, requiring excellent communication skills and expertise in social media platforms.
The intern should have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of social media marketing to drive our message forward; passionate about leveraging digital platforms to drive meaningful change and eager to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to global development through sport.
Responsibilities:
● Develop messages aligned with ITTF Foundation goals and execute communication and fundraising plans.
● Expanding the social media presence of the Foundation, creating engaging content and analysing performance.
● Collaborate with internal teams to create newsletters, presentations, and maintain a positive public image.
● Assist with updating digital assets including the foundation’s website and newsletters.
● Assist in remote coordination of communication and fundraising events.
Requirements:
● Pursuing or completed studies in communications, PR, marketing, or a related field.
● 1-2 years of experience in communication and social media management.
● Proficient in English with strong written and verbal skills.
● Familiarity with other social media platforms and content creation tools.
● Basic understanding of content management systems is a plus.
● Familiarity with analytics tools to track social media performance is a plus.
● Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability.
● Ability to work both independently and in a team.
Expected Outcome:
Working with the team to build a social media strategy for the Foundation to leverage specific platforms as well as engage in content creation experiments to ensure a data-driven and an informed approach.
Line Manager:
The Communications Intern will report to the ITTF Foundation Fundraising and Marketing Manager.
