About WTCA
The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) is an international trade organization with a mission to facilitate trade and investment opportunities for commercial property developers, economic development agencies, and international businesses. Building on a rich 50+ year history, WTCA serves as an “international ecosystem” of global connections, iconic properties, and integrated trade services under the umbrella of a prestigious brand. World Trade Centers are true beehives of economic activity and includes commercial real estate, conference and exhibition centers, trade services organizations, economic development agencies, airports, universities, free trade zones and much more.

Mission
● Promoting and protecting WTC brand for the collective benefit of their membership;
● Expanding the reach and increase the quality of global WTCA network;
● Strengthening the global presence through connecting engaged members;
● Actively seeking out potential members and establishing WTCs in new growing markets;
● Providing members support in enabling them to connect with their counterparts within the network to foster international trade;
● Expanding the reach and quality of the WTCA network through their members WTC branded properties and integrated trade services;
● Making sure WTCA members maintain and provide the highest quality service to their business members;
● Having strong continental and regional structure to meet WTCA members’ needs; 
● Migrating, leveraging, transferring, and utilizing the strengths of WTCA experienced Members’ best practices
Internship Tasks:
● Supporting daily maintenance of social media and marketing material for APAC market
● Supporting in creation and maintenance content for the official WTCA APAC website
● Translating documents from English to Chinese, Chinese to English
● Assisting with WTCs data bank building
● Conducting research on Asia and other emerging markets
● Assisting with event promotion and coordination
● Other duties that may be assigned

Requirements:
● Current college or graduate student, majoring in marketing, international business and trade, e-business, or related field.
● Excel in written/spoken Chinese and English
● Strong research and writing skills
● Detail-oriented, and able to learn quickly, work independently and deal with multiple projects
● Interest in international trade and business development
● One page English and Chinese writing sample on topic of applicant’s choice
● Knowledge of PC/Mac systems and Internet research
● Proficiency in MS software (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
