ABOUT
The International Multilateral Trade Cooperation Organization (IMTCO) is a non-governmental and not-for-profit international organization dedicated to working for the benefit of individual countries and opening up trade through innovative economic research that provides new ideas for solving trade-related problems faced at the local, national and global levels, national and global levels. The issues of trade provide new ideas, and these studies will drive the world’s top policymakers to develop better policies and practices.

MISSION
IMTCO generates new ideas, actionable policy advice and independent research, and spark critical global development conversations.
IMTCO focuses on addressing trade-related issues at local, national and global levels to help them make the most progress.
IMTCO’s academics conduct rigorous, unbiased analysis based on evidence and experts from around the world to design practical policy solutions and stimulate intellectual debate.

GOAL
To create a universal, rules-based, fair and non-discriminatory trading system. IMTCO provides a unique forum and knowledge centre for data and analysis, exchange of experience, sharing of best practices, and advice on public policy and international standard setting.

VALUES
Exchange, educate and be inspired by new trends to provide better reference for trade cooperation between countries and regions.
Internship Tasks:
There are three subjects for the interns: International Trade, International Business Arbitration, and Tourism in Eastern Europe.
The aim of this internship is to serve as an introduction to the broad concept of international trade, business arbitration and tourism starting from its historical inception, all the way through to modern times. It will explain the various international institutions, legal framework, ideological currents, and components that form its foundation.
– During the internship, the interns will attend sessions during which some topics shall be discussed and the opportunity to ask questions will be made available. At the end of each meeting, reading materials related to the internship task will be provided.
– They will also receive an internship assignment which involves submitting written work relevant to each week’s module.
– In the end, they will be tasked with writing a research paper on a topic of their choosing.

Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree (completed/ongoing)
● Fluency in spoken and written English
● Strong interpersonal and English communicative skills
● Proficiency in MS software (e.g. Word, Excel, Power point)
