2. Project Two: Transforming Energy Technologies for Climate Neutrality
Introduction:
The world is facing major problems related to global warming, climate change, anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions, and environmental degradation. They imply a major worry to take immediate measures to rectify the ways and methods to build a clean world for the future generation to live blissfully. The technological revolution paves a way to combat the current terrible situation using numerous sustainable measures by the advancement of materials. The clean energy transition is mostly adopted in the transport and mobility sectors for reducing the emissions of vehicles. The present scenario of the global climate sets urgent needs to demonstrate country wise a long-term policy for clean, renewable, and net-zero waste power generation in line with climate neutrality goals.
Description of internship
The intending journey of transforming energy technology for climate neutrality is long-term but it has achieved its initial milestones and looks forward to creating a better, healthy, and sustainable world. Realizing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) required excellence in materials via green synthesis, zero-waste design, intelligent characteristics, and innovative applications. The objectives of climate neutrality inspire researchers to drive their efforts for contributing to building a green and zero waste planet using sustainable energy technology.
● Clean energy realisations and climate neutrality
● European Green Deal and Paris Agreement
● Sustainable, secure, and cheaper energy system
● Energy efficient technologies and statistics
● Organizational motives of attaining a climate neutral world
● In this project activity, the clean energy innovation will be analyzed from literature and other useful sources using a combination of creating usefulness from research findings, utilization from research, translational research, innovation management, transfer of knowledge, etc.
The goal of the internship is to write a high-quality review article on the “Trends in clean energy research/ technology, and innovation/ national and international policy/ and management towards climate neutrality”.
3. Project Three: Innovation capacity from research and developments
Description of internship:
In this project activity, we will address the innovation capacity from a European perspective and the international relevance. Business management and innovation management are two core activities in the work.
Innovation capacity is the combination of creating usefulness from research findings, utilization from research, translational research, innovation management, transfer of knowledge, etc.
In order for innovations to be realized in a sustainable way, there is a need to align with other large context developments, such as regional growth strategies (for example, European Commission’s focus on smart specialization). This is an avenue that needs more discussion, exchange, and visibility.
4. Project Four: Research, Communications, Publications, Media & Events Interns
