Center for Broadband Studies for Development (CEABAD)

CEABAD – Center for Advanced Studies on Broadband for Development, founded in June 2014, it offers online and face-to-face training, CEABAD aims to promote socio-economic development and the transformation of countries through knowledge of Broadband, ICT and the SDGs.

Vision
CEABAD’s Vision is to train people through our Online Courses and Local Workshops on Broadband and ICT issues; and thus become the leading institution in education and training.

OBJECTIVES
● Knowledge – Improve the knowledge and skills of Broadband and ICT professionals and policy makers.
● Forum – Provide a forum for continuing dialogue on issues related to broadband development, where governments, international organizations and businesses engage in constructive discussions on broadband issues.
● Impulse – Create political momentum to advance change and develop strategic alliances and collaborations.
● Programs – Provide appropriate training programs to deliver and disseminate best practices and solutions.
● Challenges – Provide guidance on regional or country-specific challenges presented by representatives of member countries.
● Community – Promote a sense of community, both regionally and within a specific country with respect to the promotion of Broadband.
Internship Tasks:

The interns will be involved in one of the following fields.
 
1. Graphic design:
● Management of “adobe creative cloud” and “articulate storyline” programs.
● Basic knowledge of the English language.
● Capacity for teamwork.

2. International Affairs:
● Knowledge of the English language.
● Ability of expressing themselves effectively and empathically.
● Ability to write communications and emails, with clear and simple language.
● Capacity for teamwork.

3. Content Review:
● Basic knowledge of the English language.
● Ability of expressing themselves effectively and empathically
● Capacity for teamwork.

Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree (completed/ongoing)
● Fluency in spoken and written English
● Strong interpersonal and English communicative skills
● Proficiency in MS software (e.g. Word, Excel, Power point)
