West-East Bridges Foundation

Stitching Respect International West-East Bridges Foundation was established 21.06.2011 in Amsterdam. We created an organization in the Netherlands due to the fact that it is one of the most democratic and economically developed countries in Europe.
The main objectives of the West-East Bridges Foundation are to promote cooperation between the countries of Western and Eastern Europe, the exchange of experience and new technologies and support for intercultural dialogue. Our Community Council is composed of experienced experts from across Europe. The Community Council consults, and defines the basic strategy of the organizational and financial development of our organization.
The main activities of the West-East Bridges Foundation are to promote conferences, workshops, seminars, sociological and economic research, consultation, publication of manuals and network cooperation. After its establishment, the West-East Bridges Foundation held a number of successful international events that demonstrated the capabilities and potential of the organization.
 
Aims
The main aims of West-East Bridges Foundation are to promote cooperation in Western and Eastern Europe, exchange experiences and new technologies and support intercultural dialogue.
 
Tasks
● Cooperation with the state, regional and local authorities, as well as with police
● Promotion of intercultural and inter-religious dialogue;
● Support of youth organizations;
● Support for small businesses in Eastern Europe;
● Conflict prevention
● To provide technical and informative support for ethnic minorities;
● Promotion of international cooperation between the CIS countries and the European Union
● Promotion of gender equality
● Help people who need help
Internship Tasks:
● Writing applications for international Youth Exchange projects; 
● Social-Media Marketing (SMM); 
● Writing articles for Netherlands’Diary in the frame of “Support the Newspaper” European Union’s Solidarity Project; 
● Making and representing presentations; 
● Administrative and other tasks. 
 
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree (completed/ongoing)
● Proficiency in MS software (e.g. Word, Excel, Power point)
● Perfect English (both writing and reading)
● Good in writing motivation texts
● Hard working young people, able to work in strict deadlines
● Interest in international projects, open-minded, willingness to learn about different countries and cultures
● Open to learn new things and communicate well in distance
