Federación Latinoamericana de Psiconeuroinmunoendocrinologia (FLAPNIE)

The Latin American Federation of Psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology (FLAPNIE) has been created around primarily academic and scientific objectives, enabling exchange between the members of the member institutions of said Federation.

It is made up of representatives of PNIE Associations and PNIE accredited Scientific Societies and representatives of Universities in which Training from this comprehensive approach to health in PNIE Integrative Medicine or Psychotherapy is taught in: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, being open to the incorporation of representatives from other Latin American countries and the establishment of academic ties with PNIE movements from other continents.

What are the objectives of FLAPNIE?

Bring together professionals in the health area, favoring transdisciplinary exchange and integrated action, promoting scientific training and updating in this approach.

To develop research and training programs at the professional undergraduate and postgraduate level and biopsychoeducation for the general public, seeking to disseminate and strengthen this scientific and integrative conception in Health.

Promote the consideration of the multidimensionality of the human being both in the diagnostic evaluation and in the therapeutic approach, focusing not only on pathogenic aspects, but also on the promotion of resources and protective factors of health.

Ensure the consideration of ethical principles and respect for the human being, seeking their well-being and mutual respect between disciplines without prioritizing any discipline over another, but in joint action, establishing relationships with other organizations with compatible objectives.

Establish relationships with other organizations with compatible, scientific and professional, Latin American and world objectives in order to enrich the scope of the purposes and achievements.

Promote the implementation of Latin American and global research and intervention projects and plans for the development of knowledge and the application of all these comprehensive health processes.

Sponsor and organize courses, seminars, workshops, congresses or other academic events or publications and research related to Psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology and its applications in medicine, psychotherapy and other health disciplines.
Internship Tasks
Support with general activities, such as document sorting, data collection, translation, basic website maintenance, social media, project management, communication and event help, etc. 
The specific content of the internship depends on the needs at that time.

Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree (completed/ongoing). Must be Psychology students
● Can speak Spanish
● Fluency in spoken and written English
● Strong interpersonal and English communicative skills
● Proficiency in MS software (e.g. Word, Excel, Power point)
