We suggest that you work with individuals, institutions and communities to promote these goals and approaches.
Within the framework of its peace education project, the objective of the “Peace Classes” is to develop peaceful behavior in children and young people and to lead them to become “artisans of peace” in order to contribute to the harmonious development of their society.
Peace Education is a particular type of education that offers work on values, knowing how to be in society and on discovering the feelings and relationships of each child.
This method is based on cooperative learning. Cooperative games are an important part of this peace education program. This approach ensures that learners benefit not only from what they learn but also from how they learn!
This same approach is applied successfully in all of the other programs we develop for children, adolescents and adults.
To strengthen its impact, Egd asbl offers training for education stakeholders. This allows them to be given the tools to act as facilitators in the specific framework of Peace Education.
