European Helicopter Association (EHA)

European Helicopter Association representing the helicopter community in 11 Countries across Europe, including HeliOffshore – the Rotorcraft community of specialists within the Off-shore sector. Our mission is to speak as THE voice for the European Rotorcraft industry at the European Institutions and elsewhere, promoting the best interests of all sectors.
 Since its establishment, in 1980, EHA has been focused on promoting the use of the helicopter as a vital tool for improving the safety of citizens, enhancing National security and adding economic value to the European Union’s collective wealth.
EHA strive for tailored and sustainable rules aimed at creating a safe and efficient operating environment that is economically viable and guarantees fair equitable access to the Single European Sky.
EHA members are rotorcraft operators, manufacturers, service providers and suppliers all working together for a common cause. 
 
Vision 
EHA’s goal is to be the single voice of the European rotorcraft industry by all its stakeholders. including: manufacturers; operators; suppliers; regulatory entities (EASA, ICAO and European Commission); financial institutions; customers and society. EHA influences safety standards and growth of the European rotorcraft industry, creating new opportunities for its members.

Mission
To promote rotorcraft safety, to facilitate and influence growth of the rotorcraft industry, EHA provides to its Members support on matters concerning the European rotorcraft industry in line with an adequately resourced strategy, in areas such as:
● Safety
● Regulation (e.g. participation in ICAO advisory boards, EASA advisory boards and EASA EPAS)
● Financing (e.g. enable financing opportunities for funding and incentives)
● Innovation: foster innovation aimed at enhancing the sustainability and safety of the Vertical lift market
● Communication: communicate with all stakeholders the value of EHA. Increase recognition of rotorcraft industry
● European /International Affairs: to lobby at European and International level, as an enabler for initiatives in the rotorcraft industry
● Data Collection: to inform business intelligence
Internship Tasks
You will play an important part in maintaining the high quality of our social media posts, interacting with fans and followers and in assisting with new campaigns and projects.
You will also take part in the first edition of our yearly trade show, European Rotors, organized in collaboration with EASA, the European Aviation Safety Agency.
As a Social Media Intern at EHA, you will be responsible for:
content calendar management
● content calendar management;
● media engagement;
● searching for relevant content for all channels;
● daily posting on all channels;
● increasing social media reach;
● daily monitoring of social media channels;
● engagement with our international and well-educated audience;
● advising on new social media developments, e.g. launching Instagram;
● Business development support, when needed;
● Enriching our database of media and corporate contacts.
 
Requirements
● university student of social media, communications, marketing, economics, public relations or political sciences;
● availability for 3-6 months;
● availability for a full-time position. Currently, work will be done remotely via Zoom;
● native-speaker level written and spoken English;
● fine attention to detail;
● interest (and ideally experience) in social media;
● interest in aviation.
