AVPN is a unique funders’ network based in Singapore committed to building a vibrant and high impact social investment community across Asia. AVPN’s mission is to catalyze the movement toward a more strategic, collaborative and outcome focused approach to social investing, ensuring that resources are deployed as effectively as possible to address key social challenges facing Asia today and in the future.

Moving Capital Towards Impact
A leading ecosystem builder that is increasing the flow of capital into the social sector and ensuring that resources are most effectively deployed.
At AVPN, we see social investment as a continuum that encompasses everything from philanthropy and venture philanthropy to impact investing, CSR and sustainable investment. We call this the “Continuum of Capital”.
At AVPN, we have begun to see investors functioning less in delineated buckets such as impact investing, strategic/venture philanthropy and philanthropy but rather leveraging a range of investment practices. Investors do this to better support the needs of SPOs at different growth stages and to structure their portfolio for maximum impact. 
In a vibrant ecosystem where all kinds of capital work together to form a Continuum of Capital, funders may leverage different financial tools – combining grants, debt and equity across multiple investments within their own portfolio – to achieve deeper social impact, or they may seek out key partners and collaborators which can take on follow-on funding once an SPO has graduated from their portfolio. AVPN aims to support this through the Continuum of Capital Initiative.
Internship Tasks：
● Translating and writing articles on sustainable finance trends and best practices in the Asian region.
● Supporting and attending industrial events, trainings, both online and offline.
● Assist the team in marketing communications and community building.

Requirements：
● Strong interest and knowledge in Impact Investing, sustainable finance, ESG and related areas is preferred.
● Senior undergraduate or graduate students (able to guarantee sufficient working hours), preferably majoring in finance, economics and management, social sciences, environment,English.
● Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
● Good English writing, translation and presentation skills.
● Excellent communication ability and skills.
● Ability to research, analyze and learn.
● Proficiency in using office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
