The purpose of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis is to increase the global uptake, promote quality practice, and achieve optimal outcomes of peritoneal dialysis through enhanced advocacy, research, and education, in order to improve the health and well-being of people living with end-stage kidney disease or suffering from acute kidney injury.
After consultation to its members, the ISPD Council adopted a new mission statement, changing from a knowledge-focused statement to one that better matches ISPD’s current activities and patient-centred approach.

ISPD VISION
A future in which PD is freely available and equitably accessible worldwide as a reliable, affordable, sustainable and life-saving option for patients with acute kidney injury or end stage kidney disease.

ISPD MISSION
The purpose of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis is to increase the global uptake, promote quality practice, and achieve optimal outcomes of peritoneal dialysis through enhanced advocacy, research, and education, in order to improve the health and well-being of people living with end-stage kidney disease or suffering from acute kidney injury.
Internship Tasks
Support with general activities, such as document sorting, data collection, translation, basic website maintenance, social media, project management, communication and event help, etc. 
The specific content of the internship depends on the needs at that time.

Requirements
● Medical related majors
● Bachelor’s degree (completed/ongoing)
● Fluency in spoken and written English
● Strong interpersonal and English communicative skills
● Proficiency in MS software (e.g. Word, Excel, Power point)
